Notes: Around 1660, the large farmstead ‘het Land van Belofte’ was built in the Wilde Veenen polder, which had only recently been drained (1655). The owner also used the farmstead as a country retreat and it served as a hunting lodge. Archaeological investigations were carried out at this site in 2004
