Notes: The jug was found in James Fort, established by the English in 1607. It crossmends between two features: a well (Structure 185) c. 1608-1610 and a trash pit sealed in 1610.

Feature description: Medallion: strapwork surrounds a central figure of one of the Nine Worthies holding a shield appearing to depict a stylized double eagle, suggesting this may represent Julius Caesar.
