Notes: Found during excavation of a test unit at the Eyreville plantation site in Northampton County, Virginia, USA, designated 44 NH 0507. Eyreville is believed to be the oldest European settlement yet excavated on the Delaware-Maryland-Virginia peninsula, dating from the 1620's and continuously occupied since.
