Feature description: Bartmann jug; convex jug with shoulder transitioning into a high neck with ribbed collar edge, flat base, vertical ribbon handle; stoneware with surface treatment: iron engobe, accents of cobalt blue and salt glaze; mask on the neck, three identical appliqués with the coats of arms of Jülich, Kleve, Berg, Mark and Ravensberg on the belly; cobalt blue spots on the appliqués; origin: Frechen, Rhineland; surviving above ground.
