Notes: Burgzand Noord 9 is a wreck of a large (40-45 m), armed Dutch merchant ship with smooth sides, possibly built using the skin-first method. Date: based on dendrochronology, 1641 AD +/- 6. The ship sank in the third quarter of the 17th century. Its main cargo was rye, with a secondary cargo consisting mainly of Italian tableware.
