Notes: The Franina shipwreck, located off the Istrian coast in the northern Adriatic in Croatia, dates to the late 16th or very early 17th century. Archaeological evidence suggests that it was most likely a Dutch merchant vessel carrying a diverse cargo, including ceramics, glass, and other trade goods. The site is being investigated by the International Centre for Underwater Archaeology in Zadar as part of ongoing research into post-medieval maritime trade and shipwrecks in the Adriatic.
